SUSTAINABLE BUILDINGS FOR RAFAELA
Students of Sustainable Architecture elective course that is taught in the Faculty of Architecture at the Universidad Católica de Santa Fe (UCSF) Rafaela Extension, presented on Tuesday at City Hall the projects undertaken as academic outreach work. These are proposals for the Municipal Housing Institute (IMV), which needs to develop buildings on land of the district of San Jose on Lehmann Blvd.
"The main objective of this work is that the University is a generator of ideas that can serve to improve the quality of life of the community", highlighted from the house of higher learning. ;
Students were accompanied by Architect Steven Tomatis, representing the Faculty of Architecture and architects Jorge Balangero teachers and Xavier Casas. Also integrates the Mgter chair. Architect Gabriela Venier.
On the side of the municipality participated Secretary of Public Works and Urban Planning, Daniel Ricotti, the owner of the IMV, Daniel Bashan, and the coordinators of the body, and Marcelo Marcelo Bersano Riberi .
The students presented three projects on private land, 60 meters from the front, facing the west by 30 m deep in the corner. "The buildings were designed using all the criteria involved in bioclimatic architecture and sustainability," he explained.
"It is noteworthy that the joint work between institutions be of benefit to the community. Students, teachers and principals are proud to propose ideas for the common good", said since the UCSF.
