Galicia has 3 airports. 3 To the delight of their mayors and despair of much of its nearly 3.000.00 inhabitants. Not to mention the martyrdom of Alvedro neighbors, for example.
And yet, my wife and me, it happens often have to pull up to Porto to take the plane. And just take a look at parking of Sá Carneiro to realize that we are not the only Galician make this trip.
What a contradiction! I have to pass by each one of "our" 3 airports but none stop. With something as obvious as that unity is strength, there would be a big airport in Lavacolla and void - or become airports - those Peinador Alvedro and rather than continue bothering the neighbors or landmarks to cover install systems that are revealed after useful only to prevent 40% of deviations .
After a good connection AVE (= 20 minutes) Vigo-Coruña-Lavacolla Lavacolla and - well-Lavacolla Ourense - Santiago airport become a perfect shuttle for the entire Galician population.
